  • Scientific Program Director - VA Projects

I am a Scientific Program Director at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.  As Program Director of the VA High Risk Investigator Network and Analytic Core, I manage a network of VA investigators from research and evaluation centers across the nation to promote operations and research priorities related to the care of Veterans with complex, chronic conditions. I oversee the network’s communications, dissemination of information and expert guidance, and the curation and provision of resources to support evidence-based care for high-risk patients. I co-lead the VA Innovators Network and PCAT funded project “VA Data-Driven ‘Smart’ Tool to Support Outpatient Care of Complex, High-Risk Veterans,” integrating machine learning and real-time health system data into an existing VA panel management system with the ultimate goal of providing a mechanism for focused, prioritized panel management of complex, high-risk patients.

My favorite city is Buffalo, NY and when not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family at Chautauqua Lake.
